In addition to relaxation and comfort, you can be sure of delicious food at Two Rose Cottages.
We serve a seriously good breakfast in the reception room between 8.00 and 9.30 on weekdays, and 8.00-10.00 on weekends. We are also happy to offer earlier and later servings, with prior notice.
We have a cordon bleu qualification, which is useful, but what we really enjoy is just serving very good home cooking to our guests, with a bit of a flair.
The continental breakfast includes lots of choice, and as much as possible is home made. There is fruit, yoghurt, a choice of warm breads with jam, marmalade, honey and Marmite (love it or hate it), and of course fairtrade coffee and tea. You can build your own meusli or granola from a choice of ingredients or choose a warming bowl of oatmeal porridge, with honey, fruit, nuts and/or dark brown sugar.
Of course there is full English breakfast too, beautifully cooked and presented, with locally produced sausages and bacon, and local free-range eggs prepared according to your preference, including Eggie Bread, sometimes known as French Toast.
